Mental wellbeing support for young people

When it feels like life is unmanageable, young people often respond by displaying negative or maladaptive coping behaviours.

It makes perfect sense when you think about it. For example, when we feel anxious we avoid the thing that triggers us, and we feel better, for a while.

Human beings are very adaptive and find many different ways to find relief from emotional distress:  self harm, gambling, negative relationships, isolation, masking, substance use, avoidance due to anxiety or low mood….the list goes on.

The problem gets worse though when we find that our coping strategy ultimately causes us more harm than good.

At Youth Inspired we work together with young people and their families during times of mental/emotional distress,  co-creating a safe place to be where they can improve their mental health.

Our Emotional Wellbeing Services

Support for young people affected by drug and alcohol misuse

We offer specialised guidance and resources for young people dealing with drug and alcohol misuse.

This can be misuse they see at home, or struggle with individually, helping them navigate their challenges, build resilience, and make positive, healthy choices for a brighter future.

Therapy Sessions

Our therapeutic 121 sessions provide a safe, confidential space for young people to explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and build emotional resilience with the support of professional professional psychotherapists, counsellors, and coaches BACP & COSCA registered.

Personalised One to Ones

We offer personalised 121 support, tailored to each young person's unique needs, empowering them to overcome obstacles, build confidence, and achieve their emotional and personal goals. Counselling, psychotherapy and coaching are different approaches and we work with our clients to ensure that the approach that best meets their needs is worked with.
